One of the strongest elements of The Flash mythology is the concept of the Flash Family. The Flash Season 4 is all about bringing back the light and hope. <P><P> With almost all the iconic speedsters from the comics on the show, I want this year to really give us the sense of a Flash family. Not just as STAR Labs' Team Flash, but the overall Flash family. <P><P> It would fit in so well with the theme of the fourth season. The Flash has always had this family tone to itself, but a family of speedsters would only be a great bonus. <P><P> Be sure to let us know in the comments what you want to see in The Flash Season 4! Before I go on, let me be clear: I don't need a ton of time travel in The Flash Season 4. But something that wouldn't hurt the new season is a visit into the future. <P><P> Barry only seems to get hate from the Speed Force when he goes BACK in time. But we did see him visit 2024 which seemed perfectly fine with the force. <P><P> Even though 2024 was grim and depressing because Iris was dead and Team Flash was broken. This year I want to see our speedsters visit a future that looks optimistic. <P><P> This could be a way to utilize Bart's presence on The Flash by showing us where he comes from.

One of the things I loved in The Flash Season 1 was when we got to see Barry at his day job. Not only is Barry a great speedster, but also a gifted CSI. <P><P> A recurring problem in The Flash is that several characters are barely shown at work. Everyone is usually just at STAR Labs which I do see as an important aspect of this show. <P><P> But not showing Iris as a reporter or Barry as a CSI shouldn't be the case. What I want to see from The Flash Season 4 is everyone, including Barry, getting to balance their double lives.

Barry, Jay, Wally, and Jesse are not the only famous speedsters in the Flash mythos. Bart Allen a.k.a. Impulse is the son of Don Allen, one of Barry and Iris's future kids. <P><P> Smallville fans will remember Bart when he was played by Kyle Gallner. The Flash has even given a hilarious nod or two to Bart in past seasons. <P><P> It's time that we meet the Arrowverse's version of Bart in The Flash Season 4. He doesn't have to be a main character necessarily, but at least as a fun guest character. <P><P> Introducing Bart would also be perfect for this season because Barry and Iris are getting married. What would be a greater way to symbolize how epic their love is by having one of their future grandchildren visit them in 2017? <P><P> I can't think of a better way to show the amazing family that Barry and Iris are going create down the line. There is also another reason I want Bart to show up, but more on that later.

It's a wonder how The Flash has still not gotten a Flash Ring after three seasons. In the comics, the ring is able to contain Barry's suit so he can whip it out whenever he needs to change. <P><P> With brilliant minds like Cisco and Harry, The Flash Season 4 is the time to put some bling-bling on our speedsters. <P><P> Heck, Harry even offered Barry to make a ring back in Season 2! He straight up said that he knows a thing or two about micro-technology. <P><P> Besides, it's getting a little old that Barry and Wally always have to run to STAR LAbs to get their suits. A ring that can store your suit? There is nothing bad about that!

Did you know that in the comic lore, Flash doesn't just have evil speedsters as the main baddies? Central City is also known as the home of the Rogues with Captain Cold, Heatwave, Trickster and many more. <P><P> After almost four seasons, we have pretty much seen all of the members. We are even getting another one in Katee Sackhoff's Blacksmith this year! <P><P> The Thinker will be the leading villain in The Flash Season 4 so the position of big bad is already filled. But it's time The Flash starts to assemble the Rogues that could be the main threat for Season 5 in some capacity. <P><P> Whatever new version of Captain Cold we are getting on Legends should just come over to The Flash once they are done with him. It wouldn't hurt to get a new version of Heatwave too. <P><P> We have waited long enough for The Flash to bring this delicious group together against our speedsters.

It can sometimes be a sausage fest when we only see the male speedsters. Luckily we have Jesse Quick who The Flash doesn't use enough of. <P><P> Is it too much to ask for a female speedster to get some time to shine? I was disappointed that she was mostly used for relationship drama with Wally last season. <P><P> Don't get me wrong, Wally and Jesse are fantastic together. But we didn't get to see enough of Jesse as hero since she kept getting benched all the time. <P><P> For Speed Force's sake, she is the Flash of Earth-2! The woman knows her stuff and then some. While Violett Beane did just book a new gig on FOX, we can always pray that we will see her in the spring. <P><P> Only this time I want her to have a bigger role that ideally leads to a series regular position in Season 5. I'm just putting it out there.

Don't get me wrong, I love when all the DC shows on The CW come together for a crossover. But the Supergirl/Flash crossovers are just as fun and sometimes more fun than the mega-events. <P><P> Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist on screen together is always a joy. While we sadly won't get another musical this season, I want some form of Super-Flash crossover again. <P><P> It wouldn't like a true DC TV season without a Supergirl/Flash adventure in the spring. Maybe they can come together for a proper race this time? Even though Barry would clearly win.

How come we get so little of Jay Garrick on this show? After all, The Flash Season 2 went through such lengths to introduce him from Earth-3. <P><P> Maybe we could see Barry and Wally head over to Earth-3 for an episode. Just to see more of Jay's world and for an epic team-up. <P><P> When you have John Wesley Shipp, TV's first Flash in the 90s, you shouldn't waste him! Maybe use him a few more times in The Flash Season 4.
