Will Mina be assigned to a case that has her puzzled? We know she's supposed to be working alongside AJ these days, and he'll be working with the mother of Chastain's most memorable patients, York. Remeber York? He's the guy with the anal fixation. Will it be up to Mina to be the one with the best bedside manner?
Conrad and Devon's patient is a woman who works with ex-convicts and helps them get their lives back together. She's loved and revered by an unorthodox family of ex-cons who come to her aid and intend to help Devon and Conrad save her before it's too late. Felix played by Ramses Jimenez hands off something of value to Kevin, played by Dana Ashbrook.
Dr. AJ Austin has made a hell of an impression on many at Chastain Park. The only way he agreed to come to the hospital was if he would be able to work with Mina. It seems he got his wish, but will Mina take to this new work relationship?
Conrad has a lot on his mind while trying to treat a patient who is dying faster than they can figure out what's wrong with her. He's also concerned about NIc, whose facing threats from Lane, and who also is dealing with her sister's declining health.
Conrad and Devon are working the case of a woman whose health is deteriorating rapidly, and they cannot figure out what's wrong with her. Will they be able to diagnose and treat her before she dies? These two will stop at nothing to save her life.
AJ Austin is the newest hot-shot to join the hospital, and he's somewhat of an acquired taste. The doctors fall on sides of a spectrum, and we'll have to see if falls closer to Bell and Lane or Conrad, Devon, and Mina.
Do Bell and new, hot-shot doc, AJ Austin have a history with one another? Bell and Austin appear to be meeting at a bar, and it's possible that Bell is recruiting Austin to join Chastain.
Mina is one of the doctors helping Bradley. On the outside, it appears like Mina isn't concerned, but one of their own is fighting for his life and has fallen under mysterious circumstances. She has to be concerned about his well-being deep down.
Every now and then a person needs a moment of peace, and Devon is no exception. Sometimes there is a bit too much taking place at that hospital. It's been an interesting assignment for Devon but his working at Chastain under Conrad's tutelage has given him the tools to be a brilliant doctor.
Conrad reassures Nic. The two of them may be a successful couple in the end. They're closer than they ever were before, and Nic being framed has only brought them closer.
Conrad: Everything you thought you knew about medicine is wrong. All the rules you followed will break. I have only one rule, it covers everything. I'm never wrong. You do whatever the hell I tell you, no questions asked. Devon: Do you want me to speak now? Conrad: That's a question.
Bell: I'm Chief of Surgery, and it's the end of a 30-hour shift. What did you see? Doctor: We're all on the same side here. Maybe he had a heart attack.
