LOL I really feel sorry for you haters since you all take this so seriously and stuff,your lives are going to be miserable when they actually get togetherXD I'm not a Tiva shipper,I just enjoy the show and the show ships them,it's very obvious.

Oh please. Ziva only appeals to the younger generation? How old are you? My grandmother loves her, and she is nearly 70, don't think she's of the young generation like many others, do you? I know plenty of people above the age of 30 that adore Ziva, so clearly your point is wrong there.

I love how people take comments out of context & twist them to fit their own agenda. MW said putting T/Z together would be bad for the show, because once they got together they had no where else to go. He loves the chemistry between the two (and he loves CdP, just follow his twitter and that is more than apparent). His favorite season is 3 because it brought Ziva on board. His "disaster" remark was not aimed at Tiva as a couple, but at the fear that it would become boring once they finally got together, and we know that is not going to happen - I have more faith in GG, the writers and the actors than that - once it happens (and it will happen) it is only going to get better. And looking at the negative comments they are all coming from Tibbs slasher shippers - because T/Z interfers with their context of Gibbs and Tony secretly being together. And they can't seem to function in the present - all they do is cry about Season 6. Get over it - it's four years ago. Tony has obvio

Also, I agree with CA. I certainly hope that tptb don't base their show plots on polls. First of all these are not scientific or valid polls. NCIS averages 18- 20 million viewers per episode. About 2.5 - 3.5 million are in the 18 - 49 demographic. The rest (and largest majority of viewers) are older. The younger demographic are however far more prevalent and spend many more hours online than the over 50 crowd. Therefore, the results of these types of polls are quite skewed by a disproportionate number of very young fans participating. Ziva being a Mary Sue character, is designed to appeal to younger fans, as older fans tend to like more subtle, realistic, multi dimensional characterizations. Tiva clearly feeds the Mary Sue agenda. I have a feeling that NCIS viewer numbers will drop fairly drastically and quickly if the show becomes a romance soap, and turns away from its original genre.

I find it hysterically funny that people take this so seriously (and personally). Pretty sure no matter where the writers take this relationship, it will have absolutely no effect on anyone's life what-so-ever. The worst that can happen is someone is going to find something else to watch on Tuesday night.
Everyone should just chill and stop being so insulting to each other.

Then live in season 6 times then AJA, because the rest of us are living in the present. Tony and Ziva care deeply for each other, and it has been shown plenty of times from s3-9 that they both will protect each other no matter what. I ain't discussing this anymore with you. Hannah - rewatch Aliyah. Ziva asked Gibbs to remove Tony from the team because she didn't trust him, and she was clearly expecting Gibbs to choose her over Tony. So she actually did try to have Tony kicked off the team. She also threw him onto the concrete while his arm was in a sling and he had no way of cushioning his landing. She then shoved a gun into his chest. If that's not violent abuse, I can't imagine what your definition is. It is widely known that CdP has always been a fan of tiva, while MW stated in an interview that these two together would be "a disaster".

Hi All. Just want to say that I agree w/ Hannah, Irishtrish, Mew, Cierra, etc. I think you've all said the same thing: Of course they should be together. I've posted on this site many times, & honestly, I'm surprised this "poll question" is still being asked of fans. I think we ALL know that viewers are VERY interested in these two characters. CBS knows it too. If they weren't, we wouldn't still be discussing this. To me, if the show's producers DIDN'T want Tiva together, they should've kept Tony w/ Wendy & Ziva w/ Ray - Period. I'm beginning to grow tired of seeing this same question pop up.

Besides I can tell you a little secret: The reason why Ziva is how she is among men and other social relations is because of her past and how she has been neglected by her father. It changes people and the way they are....
You have however right in one thing, no it wasn't love in season 6 when she pointed a gun at Tony... A lot of people thinks they always have loved each other, NO they haven't! They have been attracted very very much, but that's not love. Love is a big thing! You don't love right away
Should they be a couple? OF COURSE I'm a giant "Tiva-shipper" and I really like Ziva because she is normal and act a bit European - she is the reason why I watch NCIS!!
Now, I think, Tony and Ziva are in love, but to say "I love you" is to soon -however something which include making out should happen in season 10...! please ;)

Just because the poll says "should they" doesn't mean they "will be".
I really hope TPTB doesn't start writing the show based on internet polls, no matter which "side" of the debate "wins".
That would seriously mark the beginning of the end of a very much loved show. They should just tell the stories they want to tell. No matter what happens, they are never going to be able to please everyone.

Well clearly darling, you're dead wrong there, because Michael loves his job at NCIS, and has outwardly expressed his excitement over his work, especially when he gets the opportunity to direct. He has done this once in season 8, and is being given the chance again this season. I just don't see how he is being degraded by the writers or crew or CdP at all. Cote loves Michael and has said this countless times, she loves working with him, as she does the rest of the cast. Clearly yours and my idea of abuse are two very different things, I have seen abuse firsthand, so I know exactly the distinction between what is abuse and what isn't. Ziva has NEVER tried to push Tony out of the team, stop relying on a bad time between her and Tony in s6, and slight things that mean the complete opposite to what you assume is abuse. Ziva called Tony 'dead weight' to try and make Gibbs see that she could travel to Colombia alone, I'm very certain she meant nothing by it, and if you look at everything bet

No Hannah - calling Ziva an abusive character is not abuse, it's an opinion. Abuse would be something like knocking an injured co worker to the ground and pointing a gun at him, or perhaps attempting to screw him out of his livelihood by having him kicked off the team. Calling a co worker dead weight is cruel and insulting. But, judging by the nasty tone of your post I can see quite clearly why you would overlook these behaviors and want Tony to stay abused by her. IMO the show has fanwanked the Ziva character and by so doing the actress herself. However I have been very careful to make it clear that it is the character's traits and actions that I find offensive, and that Tony, and MW since he is Tony's portrayer, have been degraded by the writing of both characters.

Paula, AJA? First of all. LOL. We sooo ain't watching the same show here. And second of all, calling Ziva an abusive character, is classed as abuse itself. If you hate Ziva and CdP that much, quit watching the show. She's an amazing person, and bashing on the actress is damn right mean, it's much worse than bashing on her character. What has she ever done to you? Nothing. Thirdly, Tony is not belittled by Ziva at all, they are partners and work hard together with the job and their partnership in and out of the workplace. Oh and AJA? I'll say goodbye now, coz these two are headed down the road for a relationship, because they fit together perfectly, and Tony isn't dumbed down, and they both deserve happiness, and they get that from one another. Of course we want to see them get together. They belong together, they love each other, since the beginning of the show something is there and now it's so much stronger because of everything that happened. They have this deep connexion and unique relationship. In every episode there's that "little thing" that make us say "see, they love each other so much!".
The real question should be, why in hell are they not together yet?

Agree with your post Paula. Ziva is a one dimensional Mary Sue character who the show now revolves around. They dumbed down this terrific character - Tony - in order to fanwank Ziva who is now portrayed as the only other super skilled agent besides Gibbs. What a shame. The show just screwed over Tony/MW in order to fanwank Ziva/CdP. Ziva is arrogantly cruel to Tony, who is always written as whipped by her awesome superiority. I hope that TPTB don't put the final nail in the coffin of Tony's character by writing him as smitten and further whipped by this abusive character. I'll be done with ZCIS if they do.

No they shouldnt become a couple, that could never happen. Who would Gibbs choose this time to stay on the team sence they both cant be on the same team and be lovers. Besides she is an abusive person her snarkiness cruel put downs to Tony isnt love, throwing him down on the ground and pointing a loaded weapon at him and wishimg him dead isnt love. She cant even take resposibilty for what she does, its everyones elses fault, never hers. I sure wouldnt want to be in a relationship like that and I wouldnt want my son either. Ziva is a poor excuse to have a 4 th person on the team. she should not have been in first place. I dont see how Tony could even work with her. The Tony charcter has been dumb down so much over the years to make the Ziva (Mary Sue) character a promenent part of the show way to much for my liking.
