It's as simple as this NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! don't want an ungrateful person back, KH only want's to return to try resurrect her movie career which is in the toilet still and cos Grey's is back at the top of the game.
Too much time has past, everyone has grown up and moved on.

I agree with most of you peeps out there. We're all quite 'bleh' about Izzie, I wouldn't really care if she were back or not... But I care about Alex, hell, I adore him, so if she's needed for him, PLEASE bring her back. He needs a proper, front, blast of a storyline. The man, AND the actor, is worth so much more. He's probably the best, most consistent character of that show since season 1, well probably after Christina anyway. :)

I wish Shonda Rimes would look over these responses. People are "eh" about Izzie, but they love Alex. Shonda, give the man a front-burner storyline! Alex and Justin Chambers are the best and deserve more!

I honestly never liked Izzie as a character at all.. but I LOVE Alex, and if it would give him more to do and more of a storyline, then I say, bring her back!

i think it's weird that izzie didn't come back after the shooting, i mean, her friends almost died, so it would be cool if she showed up just to see if they are ok, even if it's kinda late for that. i would love for her to come back cuz i fell realy bad for alex and i want him to have a good storyline =)

I think Katie Heigl burned one too many bridges with Grey's and fans since season 1.
I doubt they would ever bring her back.

I would love for Izzie to come back. It would be interesting to see where the character life is at, and it would be a good storyline for Alex. Even if she didn't come back permenently,I would like to see her as a guest appearance, or in a recurring role. Maybe she's working at another hospital and could come to Seattle Grace Mercy West for a consult or something.

To be honest..I think izzie is annoying and very selfish!! At the same time, I love ALEX!! After she left the show Alex has not done much..he is back in his old habits and doesn't seem to be doing anything that exciting on the show this season..but if izzie returning would mean more development of Alex's character...I would be into that!! I love Alex he is one of my favorite people on the show!! SOoooo..i guess I would not mind if she came back.

Hell no! I never liked her character and she was so ungrateful when she left. Same thing she did with Judd Apatow when she did "Knocked up". She left and now she wants back? No. Grey's has enough good characters.

Was never a huge Izzie or KH fan, especially after the way she left- uncool. But I ADORED Alex/Izzie and having her back... That would be a hell of a storyline.
Wouldn't want her back for good but as a recurring character or a multi-episode arc would be SOO good!

Yes, bring Izzie back! Even if it is just for a bit to tie up loose ends, they left it too wide open. One day she was there, one day she was gone. I wanna know what happened to her!

i think she was great on grey's anatomy. she actually had good advice for some of the problems i was going through at the time.
