The show is already fading away, what is keeping it holding on is the fanbase, they want to see a happy ending. they want to see meredith and derek FINALLY put it together, they want to see Alex grow up and stop being bitter and angry. The show won't last long once Ellen and Patrick leave, that's a fact, there's not much of a storyline to keep the show going. Sure this season revolved around Christina and Alex more, but it didn't have the spark like it use to. This season was actually the first season that I wasn't glued much to the tv...
The finale was ok. I didn't think it was as intense as they preluded it would be, like having to watch the last 30 seconds of it. The only intense thing was Pete having a heart attack. Storylines are getting old, so a new change? hmm let's see, they are still getting investigated for their medical career, not for their group, explain how they can open a new group with this going on! OH ya it disappears just like the lame storylines they have been receiving.
I never felt addi and sam had a connection, I dont' think addi will ever be happy. I think she thinks a baby will cure the happiness, but I doubt it! But with Naomi gone, maybe there will be something more going for her with Sam if it continues. So she's going to have a baby, with or without sam, so that means an IVF with some sperm donor??? after all she only has one egg so a better chance if she gets it that way. ever heard of adopting if she wants a baby so bad???
Violet, oh violet, a love/hate character for me. At first, I hated her, but grew to like her. She had so much trauma going on for her, and to finally get the relationship and her family, and she goes to do a month tour, which Pete thinks is enough to end it? really? explain the logic in that. She wants to do something, career wise, make money for the family, ya she is very selfish. who supported pete while he changed his career to work as an ER?
Glad to see cooper and charlotte growing in their relationship rather than fighting.
Amelia, see I forgot her name, which says a lot, she needs to just go, she brings nothing to the show other than to be a whiny know it all. So she has a sip of drink, and then turns herself into an alcoholic??? what a storyline there! how many shows have done the alcoholic storyline? Boring....
Just saw the preview for the finale. As usual, it's going to be all jumbled.
I am a big Derek and Meredith fan, I believe that is holding fans to stick to this show for so long. Last 2 season, last year, and this year has been a bit bland and uncreative stories for our characters that we love. What happened to the intense medical stories that fit with what's going on with the docs? what happened to showing meredith and derek after they got back together? And if they show them break apart, that is going to cause a big dent in their fan base, which may jump the shark!
Ok, this is how I saw it. meredith is with baby, and there's a room with nothing in it, not even bed sheets? I'm guessing that alex went back to move in after the rv got towed, and after his tatter tell, he moves out before he gets stoned in that house.
Chief is going to fire someone; obviously the screen will point out to Meredith, but I think it's going to be...christina. she's been great in her surgeries but she's really gone behind teddy and her overconfidence will cause a patient's life in jeopardy. Even teddy has been hinting that she's like a ticking bomb.
If it's april that wins it, I won't watch as much before, it should go to either Meredith, christina, Alex, or even yes Lexie. April is too naive, and not confident to take charge and for people to take her seriously. Jackson is not really there to do much other than to continue with family tradition of being doctors. In a way, I can see it going to Lexie, she's got everything in memory, she's organized, and has less drama as a doctor than the others.
As for Meredith and Derek, derek is going to say he doesn't see how she can't see from right or wrong, but will remember his mom saying that Meredith is one that fits in between and will go after it. I hope and think he will stick it out with her, after all they just got married! and I dont' think the show would jump the shark with the on/off, on/off, on/off relationship. FAns have had enough of that, and now they want a happy ending for them and so far, we have been robbed of it!
