Gossip Girl Round Table: "The End of the Affair" (1/31/2012)
I think the episode and Blair's actions make much more sense if you've watched the awesome movie "The End of the Affair" with Julianne Moore and Ralph Fiennes. The Blair-Chuck plot was pretty much based on the story in the movie. I do have to admit though that the writing of this GG episode was really poor. Let's hope we are pleasantly surprised by the rest of the season.

This is taking place back at the alumni event. Maybe Blair and Chuck were chosen to be the homecoming Queen and King and this is some sort of a celebration? In any event one thing is for certain - Blair got away from Thorpe in one piece!

It never even occurred to me that she might be GG. But I think she's either after Nate's money (which would be too obvious) or she'll try to destroy Blair or Serena, if not both. She's wearing the key necklace, because I think this is the new "headband" and the signature of Blair's new mean girls in Columbia. She's also might be using Nate to get to Serena. As for GG's website on her laptop, if Jonathan could have hacked GG's server in season 2, then maybe she did the same but took things one step further and will use it to post blasts that will work for her... That'd be interesting to see.
