singer, dancer, aspiring songwriter from the burbs of Chicago that owns all 10 years of the original 90210. Open minded about the new show but it's going to take a lot to live up to the original. We'll just see!

I am torn, in the beginning as someone who saw every episode more than twice and owns the entire series, I was excited about the return of the old cast. However, now that the show has been on a few weeks. I am having doubts. I am really enjoying the new cast and then seeing Brenda and Kelly which great to have them on really distracts from the storylines. I feel like I am watching 2 shows instead of one with them interacting with eachother The only person linking them together that I can see is SILVER who happens to be my favorite character. I too love the chemistry between her and Dixon and think it was a "smart" choice to pair them up together. Again, love the old cast always but this time it might be time for the new cast to find their audience without having the old storylines mixed in. Just a thought! Regardless I am in it for the long haul I love this show! Keep it going~

I have to agree that it was a little more racy than I would expect, however, when your up against those new shows such as Gossip Girl, etc. I can understand the writers wanting to do an edgy opening to get the attention. I am not sure that the audience is supposed to be as young as we were in the "old" 90210 days rather that of an older generation. I am 31 and I enjoyed most of the storylines. However, it's the conversation between Kelly and Brenda that I found to be most rewarding to watch. I can't wait to see those sideline stories open up and hopefully answer some lingering questions since the show ended. Did Kelly and Brandon somehow end up together since Dylan was always leaving when it got rough. I can't imagine Dylan and Kelly having a kid together, but Brandon yeah that makes more sense and brings a reason for Brenda to enter the pic. I loved watching them two catching up it was a tear jerker. Keep it going guys, but yeah no more oral in the high school parkinglot. That's crossing the line! Parents would agree with me right? You can still make it hot, without making it unwatchable for young viewers. Blondeyez out....
