It’s not blood bonds that make them a family.

He is the only one who’d protect her from her own worst instincts.

She protects him from others (and sometimes from herself).

She goes to Brooklyn, but it’s not Brooklyn she’s there for.

He says ”You have me” and ”I want you to be happy” (several times).

She knows he means it.

He knows her and loves her anyway, so she can be herself.

They have a real connection.

thanks mayfair22. i like the whole elevator scene too, dan was so funny and I did hope that he did tell blair what he wanted to say but sadly he was cut short, but maybe some other episode. :D btw, I lol at his comment about the people in the elevator "who the hell are you people anyway?.... must be friends of the groom"

just wanted to stop by, because i read a lot of comments here and in youtube that's hating blair. But am I the only one who thinks that maybe its serena who didn't invite him? because serena's the one who organize it anyway. And actually I'm glad with blairs' reaction when dan approach her, it feels like she knew that dan will never be mad at her and will always be there for her, and I also think that she forgot that she's actually mad at dan about the book.

Just want to get this out of me, because I'm really a fan of the episode, I like it very much...
