I was a pretty huge fan of this show... but I think they should have condensed the last two seasons into one... the story was really over long ago. Once they lost Conrad they just lost anything funny about it. And once they sort of took it out of the Hamptons, they just lost the glamor which made you able to just enjoy the soap and overlook the ridiculousness of some of the plots. Also the whole Margaux and Louise substory was just so unbelievable and unnecessary, as was the Malcolm Black story. The real story had been told. They just didn't need the rest. The initial concept, and the story of her getting Revenge on all these elite society members who had pretty much locked her in a closet as a child was brilliant, which is why I think the overall story was marred by this last season, and it's a shame. Anyway I still do love a lot of the characters, and costumes and scenery so will remember this show for it's initial 2 Seasons with fondness :)

I never thought this three way couple with Karen could be so attractive, but it's fascinating to watch. Karen just continues to surprise episode after episode. I am loving this actress I have to say... I watched her for 7 seasons on Lost play a very conservative and traditional role, and I love this totally different woman who is just exploring herself and her many loves without any real misgivings. I think Harry is gorgeous and I know he is being an arse but I am so totally team Harry/Joss (maybe cos I am aussie). I really wish the writers would at least give them the chance to be happy as a couple for a couple of weeks before just tearing them apart in every single episode. I mean we've watched these two for 3 seasons now and they don't seem to cut either of them a break. Every week you think they will just have one happy in love episode with someone or each other, and they always end up in tears! I love Marc, and I think April is one of the most stunning actresses on TV! I don't think they really work as a couple though - more as a family. I really think she connected best with Daniel. The two had real chemistry. I don't really understand why she's broken up with him. This Blair guy seems like the 'good on paper' she feels she 'should' be with. I didn't really like Savi's character. Nothing on Alyssa Milano, it was just her character really frustrated me. She was super self involved and she really never seemed to care at all how her actions affected others in anyway. I found her extremely selfish. I mean I still think if it was realistic, what Joss and Harry did was unforgivable - because Savi and Harry were together 15 years... thats such a betrayal no matter how you look at it. I feel like the show actually cast the wrong couple to begin with. Even in Season 1, Savi and Harry just didn't have chemistry, Joss and Harry always had it through the ceiling - I think they realised it and trying to repair the damage. Lastly I think the character of Calista is one of the best characters I've seen on TV in so long. She is very rock n roll and super relatable, like a lot of stronger older women I have met in the fashion industry. They have really nailed an awesome character who brings something fresh and powerful to this little group! This show is great escapist watching especially when you're home sick all week with the flu!!! :)

I think that Jon will continue in one form or another - as have quite a few characters in the series - at this point in the books Melissandre was also at the Wall as she never left it to begin with so the show had to find a way to bring her back. I really like Aryas story and I disgree with the reviewers. She is the only Stark really standing up for her beliefs and choosing her fate. I wander where Petyr Baelish has been for the last half of the season. He sort of abandoned Sansa. I think HBO did real credit to the walk of Cersei. You really felt it as you did in the book and she seemed so small and vulnerable in the end as she was picked up and carried away. In the book Qyburn is a new age scientist (for the times) and he does a lot of experiments on humans for his learning. Thankfully they left a lot of this out in the series as the implications were really gory but you can guess that is what happened with the mountain. I don't think Dany dropped the ring as a place maker - it was a wedding ring - she didn't want to seem married when she met the Dothraki - that's my theory. I guess only GRR Martin knows for sure!!
