She got a bit choked and winded - that's why her voice was so hoarse. But no stabbing

I loved tonight's review!! You are so right about David... seriously he had a full day to do something.... he just unpacked and packed that bag like ten times. He is pretty hopeless at being an 'epic ninja' - even Victoria seems like a more worthwhile adversary in a fight - Emily runs circles around him in talent and abilities. It was nice to see Jack look so manly and proactive for once, instead of being all snivelling and self-pitying. (on a side note - where does he constantly ship Karl off to?) I know the B- story was a bit crowded for tonight's plot but I actually quite enjoyed it. The young actress is so beautiful - she looks like Jessica Rabbit! I also like seeing Nolan get involved in a few plots and schemes that aren't so Emily-centric. Honestly I think Margaux is kind of retarded. Look around. See how many people have died for this whole Revenge-thing. Daniel is gone, she can't bring him back, and she's about to have a baby! Why wouldn't you cut your losses, and focus on the fact you are having this amazing baby, instead of putting it into danger for some hair-brained scheme that won't even change anything!! Well I guess they need a reason to keep the plot alive. By the way, if they had killed Charlotte instead of Daniel would anyone even notice? I forgot she is still in the show!!

Girls Season 4 Episode 2 Review: Triggering

Even though I understood the premise of the first half of this episode... that weird isolation and loneliness you can feel in a new place, I found it hard to watch just because Hannah was so incredibly self absorbed and tactless that she really brought everything upon her. Who tells a total stranger you are a victim of abuse, or 'feel free to leave the room' if my reading aloud overwhelms you. She was just such a brat, it was the first time I could really understand why sometimes her parents almost ignore her when she does this self pity thing. Marnie reached all new levels of deluded - knitting a scarf for Dez so 'she could always be with him.' My god... Shosh and Jessa were fine in their brief cameo. The saving grace of the episode was definitely Elijah. He is awesome. He lights up the screen everytime. I think that he really provides some much needed humor and also the one person not afraid to give these self deluded girls a dose of reality when they need it. Really missed Adam though.
