Mentor? No, he was a babysitter. Giving her a powerpoint presentation of Gibbs' ex wives isn't being a mentor. For most of the season Tony sat in the squad room, held the clicker, and fretted about bath salts and his colon. He wasn't "teaching" her how to be a field agent, he was standing in front of her so she wouldn't get herself shot. You're right, she's "not perfect" and I never expected her to be. But I didn't expect her to be this horrendously incompetent. Her so called brains are never needed on this team except on the rare occasions (one a year?) when they are hunting a terrorist. In those cases, she should stay in the office on the floor, and do her work. She's hopelessly out of place as a field agent.

There was no need to rush like they did to jam a character into Ziva's spot. The Bishop character was a stupid idea. This team doesn't need an analyst. They rushed into casting her and ended up with a cheerleader who is in no way convincing as a genius. Now it's clear the character is a colossal failure, and what does the show do? They blame it on Cote. "She forced us to rush." No she didn't. You rushed, you created a loser character, and now you're blaming Cote for it. Oh, and blaming the fans, insisteing we have to give her more and more chances. My good will is more than used up.
Also, I always hated playboy Tony and was hoping we were done with that forever.
