    How a christmas party of Ed having a bit too much to drink links to this 2011 rumour I will never know. The christmas party may show evidence for Ed being drunk and disorderly but there is no evidence here, especially when another newspaper contradicts the incident with a positive story on the same night

    It's upsetting that you're so quick to believe gossip like that!

    The NYpost who reported it first on 'page 6' are always making rumour up about the gossip girl cast

    And reading 'My friend's husband pushed them a bit' seems extremely biased to me. Considering the slander the GG cast have had before i am not so quick to believe the worst in Ed...also reading;

    'Gossip Girl' star plays the gentlemanEd Westwick may be a klutz, but at least he's a courteous klutz. A source tells us the "Gossip Girl" actor bumped into a patron in the lobby bar of the Ace Hotel around 1 a.m. Monday morning and spilled his drink on the fellow. Fortunately, the high-spirited actor did not forget his manners. Our source says Westwick didn't just apologize. When he learned that the guy he'd just doused was the brother of a bride who was having an "after-party"for her wedding - how chic! - at the hotel, Westwick bought a drink for the entire bridal party. What a guy!

    It seems to me that a lot of people are too quick to believe trash written about a lot of the GG cast and other celebs for that matter. I am not saying I know what happened and that he maybe did have a little to much to drink but from the past and hearing how nice a guy he is, it is unlikely to have ended with Ed being so rude, when in retrospect, The nydaily report him on the same night being a gentleman and putting write his ooopies!
