best episode since S4. I like my chair flirty, which is exactly what this episode gave us. a little annoyed though-was dair just a tool to stall chair? (the ILY was super bland!) if so, the past 6 episodes were just filler. i wish every episode this season was more like 5x22. glad that they're finishing strong though... i have a feeling that the big finish referenced in the promo is a very special engagement. super romantic!
3. You also see romantic ambiguity with Nate. First he was with Diana. Then Ivy. Then back to Diana. Now Lola. And who knows, he may go back to Diana. 4. Of course Lily and Rufus will make it. I'm happy the writers finally found a story for them. 6. Nate needs to learn to pick a girl and stick with her. 7. When B is spending too much time with C, I hope D gets revenge by hitting it with G - for old time's sake. 8. Yes. He also needs a sandwich. D used to be crush worthy. Now I gag every time that anorexic frizzbomb comes on screen.
1. I adored how Nate stuck up for Chuck (when Dan accused Chuck of having an ulterior motive to pay the dowry). "No, I think he was just trying to do something nice for Blair." At least one NJBC friendship is thriving! 2. Chuck Bass is finally growing up. I recently watched scenes from late S4, and wow. That man has come a LONG way. Bravo, writers, you did something right. I just wish Chuck's story received more screen time. Hopefully it will soon! 3. The theme of "romantic ambiguity" is driving me crazy. Blair's romantic choices throughout this whole season are constantly left unexplained. Why did she suddenly decide she was still in love with chuck in 5x10 after pushing him away for so long? How did Blair go so quickly from "being in love" with Louis to the relationship being "strictly business" in 5x14? When did Blair exactly stop seeing Dan as a friend? When did Blair fall out of love with Chuck? Why is Blair so horrible to Chuck, even though he did nothing wrong? Someone help me out! Nate has had a similar pattern to Blair. He liked Diana, then Ivy, then back to Diana, and now Lola. And who knows, he may hook up with Diana again.
