The Mentalist Review: It's About Time

Well said! You really are a rational gal!

I am not a shipper nor am I a non-shipper, I'm generally willing to go were the show takes me. That being said, I will be soooooooo upset if Lisbon drops her new job to follow a guy she has been dating TWO weeks!!! Like I said, I am middle of the road, personally I just want Lisbon to finally be happy. It just seems her character, with her back story, has always gotten the fuzzy side of the lollipop; she deserves some happiness! I won't mind the Jane thing, because she obviously loves him. But I won't go crazy if they hooked her up with someone good; I loved her with Mashburn. But this Pike guy is sooooooo BORING!!! OMG!!! There is no passion, no spark! And all the forced smiles! I don't know if they are meant to look forced and uncomfortable, or if it's the fact that Robin Tunney has zero chemistry with this guy, but she looks pained. Couldn't they have found an actor with some spark? There are thousands of them out there, come on! It just irks me. She's a professional woman who has voluntarily remained single to focus on her career. Say what you will, but she finds faults in every guy she dates (he bites his fingernails...); that is an excuse to remain single. Enter Marcus Pike, an FBI agent who deals with stolen art (lame), and not very well either, if you remember his first epi, and HE manages to sweep her off her feet and convince her to abandon her new post at the FBI after two weeks! Come on! They could at least of given us some really awesome guy with serious romantic skills to whisk her away; not Bob from Accounting (no offense to the CPA's out there, I'm one myself). Thanks for reading my rant, I feel better now.

It also depends on how CBS's new shows, that they will be airing in the early Spring, perform. One of which seems to be a TM knockoff.
