Classic Gossip Girl Clips: Hope You Did Your Yoga ... (11/9/2010)
What about that funny banter they have at Lincoln Center? C: He isn't a date, he's a distraction, keep your focus, give in to your desires, your needs, let's finish that the right way. B: Colin isn't a distraction, you are.

What Did You Think of "The Debarted"? (12/8/2009)
this was by far the best episode in whole season 3! i actually kind of enjoyed watching it, which lately didn't happen very often. i think the sl's were cleverly put, i liked the stripp/maureen sl, as i did chuck's and westwicks really great performance. this ep was apart from nate's quite lame attempt to hit tripp in front of the hospital (i'm sorry, i just can't get over chace's amazing acting skills...)well acted, it had tempo and intensity a lot of what terribly lacked for such a long time. i liked the dialogues, especially between chair, very in character, with subtext and not cheesy or immature, savage really caught them as what they are to each other. finally i could even get over bart's mockery (very weird if you keep 1x18 in mind) about chuck's feelings for blair, while understanding him not as a real person or ghost but figment of c's inner-insecurties and fears. i'm a bit sceptical about the apparence of chuck's probable mother, but let's see about that. huge improvement, but for how long?

Ed Westwick Covers Arena Homme Plus (10/1/2009)
seriously, this is not a hot pic... but to be honest that's the thing about westwick, his face is more interesting than beautiful, yet at one shot he can look pretty ugly and in the other very handsome. IMO that's also a good precondition for interesting roles, he's doing a great job in playing CB, but that doesn't makes him marlon brando. :-)

Chuck, Blair and narrative power. (1/2/2011)
i feel like the person who wrote that tries to support the writer's choices, or at least put sense in it, when really (IMO) they didn't have any plan at all.
AL, i totally agree with you.
It's a nice rationalisation for why Chuck might have reacted the way he did, but there's not actually much support for it in the events of the show. A much simpler explanation is that Chuck cannot stand to lose. When he loses (be that the Empire, Eva, Nate finding out about Blair and him in S1) he reacts in a very childish, spiteful and vengeful way to the person he holds responsible: Blair.
