My husband and I exclaimed "Starsky and Hutch!!" at the same time when both Aiden and Bishop were shown together. It was fantastic! I liked this ending for Sally's storyline--Annie's was good too, but I am liking how the US version is becoming its own. Both shows are great, so I try not to compare.
I pretty much agree with Andrea. The characters were introduced with some good details in the Criminal Minds episode The Fight. It was pretty much explained why Cooper's team was different. The only new character--due to shuffling around--I believe, is Janeane's character. So yeah, we will need some info on her. But, for me persoanlly, I don't expect to have answers to ALL my character questions in the first episode--why would I want to tune in after? Now I am curious and I will want to keep watching to find out more about these people. "Why are we introduced to the term “Red Cell when it has not relevance to the story? Should the show been called Criminal Minds: Red Cell". Um, it explains this type of unit and why it is different than the normal BAU untis--it has relevance to all the episodes that this team is in. Why it isn't called CM: Red Cell? Who knows, who cares. I like the show and will continue to watch. I guess I don't analyze so much to drive me batty--I take them for the entertainment value that they are. They are not real life--just based on it.
