  Does anybody else have a problem with Judith as Harris's weirdo mother? IRL she's only 7 years older than him, which is bit of a stretch, even in Texas. When we were first introduced to her, I just went WTF?

  This show is absynmal. It promised so much, and was hyped so much, but what it delivers is second-hand ideas, clicheed dialogue, bad acting and stereotypes with embarassingly predictable, boring back-stories which we've seen a thousand times before. I'm bailing out, and a second series is surely impossible? btw, the 'lead character' sends me to sleep. No ability as an actor, no charisma, nothing interesting about her. Was she only cast because she looks like an aged Uma Thurman (even tough she's only 18) and can adequately model an unwashed t-shirt in a very badly-realised post-apocalyptical world?
