Grey's Anatomy Forum: "These Ties That Bind" (11/13/2008)
Don't forget Mary McDonnell! She's the biggest thing to happen to Grey's since...well, since Kevin McKidd!!! greysanatomyabc.livejournal.com/

Melissa George Character Rewritten Amid Brooke Smith Firing (11/4/2008)
Wow. Just. Wow. Drama. So much of it. Lot's of people were unhappy with the story line, but big numbers of fans, gay and straight alike appreciated the risk and reward of exploring the theme. I think? Emotions mixed right now, but talking it out at greysanatomyabc.livejournal.com/ Thanks for being here Greysanatomy insider. When you need to be with fans, it's nice to know you are here.

Grey's Anatomy Poll: Should Alex and Izzie Get Together? (10/29/2008)
greysaddiction, I think you may have cracked it with your solomon like last post!!!! I asked earlier if there were a good compromise between AI and GI and I do believe you have discovered it. "I can accept Izzie with someone else right now-- why not try someone like Mark with Izzie?" or "give Alex something positive that makes Izzie not want to give up on him." Awesome prescriptions Dr. Greysaddiction! Even if it isn't Mark, perhaps your right. Could the solution be to find her someone "outside the box?" Are there any other possibilities besides Mark? Intriguing. It sounds to me like what Gizzie fans most want, even beyond seeing Izzie with George, is to see her connect with someone who is growing rather regressing. AI fans should be able to support that concept. The basis for common ground, perhaps? I commend your addiction AND your analysis! (Shonda, are you listening? Shonda? Has anyone seen....? Well...that might be too much to hope for. But Dream a little Dream etc...

Rise Up (11/13/2008)
Maphie666 not sure about the downloads themselves, but ABC has a comprehensive list on the ABC.com site.
On the Mer Der front, since people are aching for more heat, I think I'm going to do a Mer Der heat meter poll to see what people think after each episode. Right now, seems like the MerDer fans are NOT satisfied. Have to see after tonight...
can't wait.

The TIes That Bind (11/13/2008)
Can't wait to see Mary McDonnell. BSG fans are so hyped on her, that it seems like this will be a great addition. All the clips from this week make me excited, and having Kevin McKidd on board is such a great development!!!

Rise Up (11/7/2008)
Ok, so here's what I think is going on greyaddiction, because I do see them in a different way I think.
I think you've got a case of not being able to see the forest through the trees.
The Yang, Sloan, Hunt nexus this week was hilarious. George wrasslin the robot: hilarious. Yang talking about her dad with Hunt: riveting. The old man begging for his wife to answer him "Rosie, Rosie, Rosie": absolutely heartbreaking. The cadaver club: gruesome, gothic, naughty.Yang smacking down Sloan, Callie getting Izzie's back...so many great moments last night.
So, not so much MerDer because after playing that note a lot there needs to be some "absence makes the heart grow fond" time for their story line, but it's building back towards them in subtle ways.
Izzie? Great stuff last night. I think of that speech of the chief's in the premiere where he's talking about getting SGH back to being a great teaching and trauma center. That's the theme of the season, so the personal has to take a back seat. I think you might be too focused on the nitty gritty? Take a step back and feel the love?
