Blue Bloods Season 11 Episode 13 revolves around the idea of fallen heroes.

When Danny and Baez investigate the murder of a comedy club owner, they quickly discover that the top suspect is Emmett Fells, a comic that Danny admires. Danny is convinced Fells is not their guy, but Baez thinks he just doesn't want to have to arrest a star he admires.

Fells confesses but admits that he doesn't really remember the evening in question, as he was drunk. Baez doesn't believe this confession and tells Danny that she learned that Fells has been spiraling downward ever since losing his ability to visit his young daughter following a drunk driving accident with her in the car. She thinks Fells can't remember what happened that night and has convinced himself he did it.

Meanwhile, Jamie and Frank's relationship is tested after Jamie takes the side of a homeless woman over a rookie cop who tried to arrest her in the train station. When Jamie won't explain the situation, Frank has him suspended, then looks into the truth of why Jamie is so protective of this woman and discovers a surprising connection to their family.

Blue Bloods Season 11 Episode 13 Quotes

Garrett: This show is so left-wing they won't even mention the right lane. You should at least listen to it before you go on.
Frank: I do. Every morning.
Garrett: You do?
Frank: Look, we need to get our voice out there, especially to their listeners.

Jamie: Number 3.
Cop: Conduct yourself with integrity. Always strive to be better than what's expected. And number 4 is always put value on human life.
Jamie: I've never heard anyone state the mission statement word for word before. Now for the most important question: what happened in Jaws?
