Blue Bloods Season 12 Episode 7 revolves around breaking the silence.

When a Vietnamese bodega is robbed, Danny and Baez have trouble starting their investigation because no one will talk to them. A kid sitting on a stoop tells them that everyone is scared of a gang called Born in the USA. The cops go to a local skate park and round up a bunch of gang members, including the leader, Sonny, who tries unsuccessfully to run from Danny.

Sonny denies involvement and in fact says that the victim's family is off-limits because he likes their sandwiches. Danny does too and believes him. But now they're back at square one.

A little while later, a van pulls up in front of Danny and Baez and throws a white guy out, tied up and tape across his chest saying WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS. It's a message from Sonny. The guy is the bodega's landlord who had a beef with Bal, but it turns out he was out of town during the attack.

Meanwhile, Erin struggles with what do when Kim assigns her a super low-level case and she assumes she's being punished for considering a DA run.
