While presiding over a promotion ceremony, Frank recognizes a new detective's father as a fugitive from a 40 year old murder of a police officer. Henry was actually a witness to the event but when Erin interviews him she finds that he gets many of the details wrong and worries that perhaps she should take a plea deal. Frank doesn't want that so he asks the detective to wear a wire and ask his father about the shooting. When the man incriminates himself on tape with his son, he is arrested.

Elsewhere, Danny and Baez investigate a string of murders where the victims are involved in the adult film industry. It turns out that a young woman who was also in the industry committed suicide and her parents blamed all who got her into the business. The father and mother have both been killing the people they felt were to blame.

When a man is about to be beaten by a crowd after hitting a young girl with his car, Jamei and Eddie come to his rescue but when he confesses, Eddie realizes that his story is a lie.
