Chicago Med Season 7 Episode 13 revolves around secrets and surprises.

When a construction worker is brought into the hospital after having a seizure that resulted in a severe injury, he confides to Marcel that he has epilepsy but his meds aren't working. After running some tests, Marcel concludes the man doesn't have epilepsy and wants him to spend time in a seizure clinic so they can get to the bottom of what is going on. However, the man can't afford this. Losing a week from work means not being able to pay for his wife's MS care, his kid's braces, or his crumbling roof.

Marcel comes up with a solution so they can get the man his diagnosis, but Stevie thinks what he did is unethical, and when Marcel reveals all to the patient, the man seems to agree.

Meanwhile, a woman comes into the ED who supposedly has Alzheimers, but she seems completely fine cognitively. A previous scan shows that she has Alzheimers, but the disease doesn't reverse itself. And when Charles tries to find out what's going on, the woman's daughter puts a stop to the examination.

Finally, Maggie gets some surprising news, while Scott and Archer deal with a pregnant patient who got syphilis from her cheating husband.
