Law & Order: SVU Season 19 Episode 17 revolves around a prostitute who is raped by a soldier.

When a young woman is found unconscious and dressed strangely, Rollins realizes she is a prostitute who most likely was raped by a john. Rollins seems to have a problem with this entire case and tells Carisi she doesn't see why they should bother investigating raped prostitutes when there are other women who actually need and want help. Carisi tells her some people don't choose to be prostitutes but she doesn't buy it.

Benson manages to develop a rapport with the victim and reassure her that what she does for a living doesn't make what happened to her any less bad or less worthy of justice. She learns that there were three men involved. The youngest one did not hurt Sandi. All three men are on a local Army base.

Investigating proves difficult as no one will talk and the one man everyone knows is innocent confesses. Sandi IDs her attackers but Stone isn't sure he can make a case without more evidence.

SVU works hard to get the Army officers to turn on their superior, who was the one who raped and beat Sandi. But one of the officers has a secret that makes testifying very difficult for him.
