Law & Order: SVU Season 24 Episode 10 revolves around problems in the Bronx.

Bronx SVU is in trouble after a whistleblower is fired and successfully sues. McGrath wants Benson to help clear the backlog of cases there. Benson initially is not interested, but after a street gang attacks her while she is walking with Noah, she changes her mind because the gang leader is also in the Bronx.

Benson and Fin learn from Bruno, the whistleblower, about a closed case where the wrong guy is in jail. The DOJ insists this is interfering with their investigation into the Bronx SVU, but a new victim turns up and she's dead.

BEnson and Fin continue investigating, with the help of Lieutenant Dixon, who is fluent in ASL. After Bruno bribes a lab worker, they get a hit on the DNA and discover that the son of a Deaf woman is behind the rapes.

Meanwhile, Muncy and Velasco search for the gang member that Benson shot during the attack and find him dying of sepsis in a basement. They get him to the hospital in time.
