Law & Order: SVU Season 24 Episode 3 takes on a fictionalized version of the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard case.

Rollins and Carisi are on a date when they hear screaming and see Kelsey Jones, a famous pop star, be ejected from her limo. They seem not to recognize her as they offer her a ride and a card.

When Kelsey shows up at the station, Rollins goes all in on getting her to press charges despite Kelsey's reluctance. Kelsey withdraws her complaint, however, after Austin proposes to her. Meanwhile, Austin doesn't take the accusations seriously.

Benson suggests Kelsey stay with family and her mother comes to town, soon calling Rollins after another fight. This time, Kelsey accuses Austin of rape and presses charges.

Carisi thinks this case will be a hard sell, which aggravates Rollins, but agrees to try it. Austin's father shows up and says his boy is a drunk like him. Meanwhile, the trial becomes a media circus, with Austin's fans calling Kelsey a liar on social media and in the courtroom. Austin testifies and apologizes on the stand and Kelsey wants the charges withdrawn but it's too late.
