Late that night, Dr. Craft imagines Elsa in place of his wife during sex and his wife in unimpressed by his heightened passion.
Lewis and Tiago go to the Temple of Joyful Voices to question Sister Molly but get blocked by her mother, Miss Adelaide. Lewis takes some accounting ledgers as evidence and shares his theory with Tiago that the Mexican look of the murder was a red herring.
Tiago tracks down Molly at the Joyful Voices soup kitchen and they talk for a long time until Miss Adelaide arrives to end that.
Mateo is saved from an attack at the hospital by the police from the riot by Fly Rico, a member of the Pachuco gang, who invites him to join.
Lewis and three Jewish friends are watching Goss and his associates. Lewis follows a new associate while his friends follow Goss' car into the hills above Los Angeles where the car stops suddenly and Goss' driver steps out and kills them both.
Maria calls upon Santa Muerte again and has a vision of Raul standing bloodied and silent in front of her.
