The insurance company shows up to assess Charlie's future as they try to decide whether it is time for him to be moved to a long term care faciitly. In flashbacks we see tha accident that put him in the coma. He got sick in the backseat of his father's car. His father told him to take his seatbelt off and lie down just before a truck hit their car. Back in the present, Charlies parents finally reconcile as the insurance company decides to move Charlie. Nurse Jackson isn't happy and she secretly puts Charlie's name on a vial of blood belonging to someone else.

Elsewhere Emma and Leo fight all day long when Leo finally admits he wants to be more than friends and kisses her. Jordi watches from the sidelines and isn't pleased.

Dash gets closer to being called up for a lung transplant but he isn't sure he wants to go through with the surgery if he gets the chance. He tells Kara that he's at peace with his fate but that he really hope to be remembered. With Kara's help he managed to spraypaint a mural on a the roof of a nearby building for all of his friends to see.
