When you watch Stitchers Season 1 Episode 3 online you'll see what love really is. Kirsten is stiched into the mind of a young newlywed named Lily who was murdered on the Santa Monica Pier. While in the memories, Kirsten isn't able to get a clear picture of what happened because Lily has blunt force trauma to her head which has caused her memories to be distorted. Even though the memories are distorted, Kirsten gets the sense her husband has nothing to do with the murder and tries to convince Detective Fisher to ask him questions about what she seen in Lily's memories. Detective Fisher, unfortunately, can't ask because he has no explanation about how he would know these personal details. Kirsten takes it upon herself to talk to Lily's husband, Scott, and when she starts bringing up the personal information he gets freaked out and demands to have his lawyer. Back at the lab, Kirsten is put back into Lily's memories and is given a clearer picture of what happened; the driver who was hired to take the couple to the pier was involved in Lily's murder. Kirsten and Cameron go to investigate and they are able to apprehend the killer after they find out him, the driver and the hotel clerk were working together by targeting wealthy clients. Meanwhile, Kirsten goes through the things Ed left for her and finds a photo of him and her mom. Kirsten goes to Maggie to demand answers, but she claims she knows nothing about the photos. By the end of the episode, Maggie gets a letter which has the other half of the photo Kirsten has, which clearly shows Maggie was much closer to Ed then she was letting on.
