Things get musical on The Muppets Season 1 Episode 4, in which Miss Piggy gets a sudden desire to spend time with her fellow crew members. (Maybe she remembered the earlier incarnations of the show in which everyone was, you know, FRIENDS.) She demands an invitation to their after-show drinking at Rowlf's bar, and while the gang is initially reluctant to spend time with the diva, her company pays off when Ed Helms joins the party. They engage in several rounds of tipsy karaoke--you haven't lived until you've seen Swedish Chef perform "Rapper's Delight--and Piggy gives everyone permisson to show up late to work the next day. Unfortunately, when they do arrive, brutally hungover, and, in Beaker and Bunsen's case, in each others' clothes (!), Kermit fears the bonding has gone too far. While they bond, Fozzie bear stews in guilt after accidentally shooting Statler with a t-shirt gun. Statler, whose senility is actually quite worrisome in this episode, sneds Fozzie to do all his personal errands, but if you're looking for bonding in this storyline, you don't know Statler and Waldorf.
