When you watch The Whispers Season 1 Episode 8 Online, you'll see Wes be a terrible husband. Lena confesses that she has been talking to Drill through Minx, and that there is no way Drill is dead. Not surprisingly, Minx lies to Wes and says that Drill was never talking to her and Lena. Wes believes Minx over his own wife. Way to go, Wes. It isn't until Claire tells him that Drill is alive that he realizes he is a terrible husband. Meanwhile, Claire and Sean go on a road trip. They learn that Drill was here before. He spoke to a boy, Thomas, in 1982. They go try to track down Thomas, and end up talking to his dad and learning that Drill made Thomas kill his older brother, Eliot. After Drill threatens Minx, Lena agrees to his kill mission. Minx decides to do the smart thing, and she tells Wes that she is afraid Lena is going to do something bad. That's when Wes finds his gun missing. Claire and Sean find Thomas and learn that he believes he killed Drill, so the Drill that is talking to Henry can't be the same Drill he knew. Before he can explain how he killed Drill, Lena comes in guns blazing and shoots Thomas. He's not dead yet, but Thomas is in bad shape.
