This Is Us Season 6 Episode 16 takes place a week after Miguel's death.

The Big Three are there to help out, but Rebecca keeps calling for Miguel and asking where he is. Randall calls a family meeting and floats the suggestion that Rebecca move in with him, while Kevin says he built the cabin as Rebecca asked and that's where she should stay. Kate sits silently watching her brothers fight.

Beth doesn't want to be around this energy and takes Philip and Sophie to the cabin, but Philip feels left out and like he should be supporting the family. He is upset that Beth and Sophie crack jokes about the Pearson family drama when something so serious is going on. Beth explains that sometimes she needs to let off steam because the Pearsons are so much.

Kate calls Toby to check in on the kids and updates him on what's going on. He encourages her to trust in herself. She's a powerhouse when she's not around her brothers, but she should remember Rebecca chose her for a reason.

Meanwhile, the stress of caring for Rebecca is interspersed with random moments of Rebecca taking care of the Big Three as children.
