This Is Us Season 6 Episode 11 is the beginning of the end for Toby and Kate.

Toby comes home for Miguel and Rebecca's anniversary party, but he and Kate are fighting all the time. He's angry that she won't move to San Francisco. The fighting takes a toll on little Jack, who tells Rebecca that Mommy and Daddy are mad a lot.

Things go from bad to worse as the leak that Toby never fixed turns into a more expensive problem and no one can watch Jack. Toby puts Jack in his room but doesn't shut the gate all the way, and Kate leaves the door unlocked when she lets the plumber in. During the chaos, Jack gets his walking stick and takes off for the park.

Everyone panics when they realize Jack is gone, but Rebecca sees the rubber boots are gone too and realizes where Jack is headed. She runs to the park, but she's too late. Jack has fallen down some steps he couldn't see.

Everyone meets at the hospital, where Jack screams while getting stitches. After, Kate and Toby have a huge fight outside over whose fault this was.
