This Is Us Season 6 Episode 14 revolves around Kevin's love life.

When Sophie arrives for Kate and Philip's wedding, her luggage has not arrived with her and she can't convince a hotel clerk that this isn't her bag. Kevin offers to take her to a store to get new clothes. They end up at a cleaners, where she asks if she can buy something that has been unclaimed.

While searching through dresses, Kevin and Sophie talk and Sophie reveals how poor her family was after her parents got divorced. After they get the dress, they go food shopping and keep talking. Sophie says she is a traveling nurse now and goes to Berlin and other countries in Europe on a regular basis.

Sophie isn't ready to head back to the hotel so she and Kevin go for a walk, where Sophie realizes she's divorced. However, later when they decide to make out Sophie pulls away because she doesn't want to move backward.

A confused Kevin goes and talks with the wedding singer, who has written a poem for him, and to Nicky, and then to Cassidy, who he thinks could be the one, but she says that they aren't each other's person and he knows it.

At the wedding, Randall makes a rambling speech encouraging Kevin to go after Sophie and Rebecca is lost in the past and tells Sophie that Kevin needs to grow up so that he will be ready for her.
