It looks like it's all about Alec and Clary on Shadowhunters Season 1 Episode 5.
Alec is definitely not a big fan of Clary, but his loyalty to Jace is fierce. He'll do anything for him, including training the girl he dislikes most. Does she have what it takes?
But no matter how hard Jace tries, he can't be everywhere, and it appears that Clary finds herself in a bit of trouble. Luckily for her, Simon shows up, but where are the others?
Will they be be able to find her before Valentine does?

Jace wants something, and Alec looks like he's ready to give in to whatever it is. I'm sure it has to do with Clary. Alec is probably hoping that Jace will get bored with her soon so that life can get back to normal.
2. Behind me - Shadowhunters Season 1 Episode 5
Clary doesn't look too thrilled with whatever Jace has in store for her. All she wants to do is find her mother, and he keeps throwing diversions her way. Who wants to workout at a time like this?
3. I'm tough - Shadowhunters Season 1 Episode 5
I'm sure that Isabelle had a much more snazzy workout outfit for Clary, but it seems that she's still trying to maintain some sort of normalcy...or boringness. Alec better not insult her or Jace is going to hit him with that stick.
4. Must I, really? - Shadowhunters Season 1 Episode 5
Why is Alec standing in front of that small table? Is he in need of some designing advice? Maybe he just wants to see if Clary can do a handstand on it.

It's obvious Alec doesn't like Clary. Jace doesn't seem to be there to protect her, so she's all alone. What will Alec do? Maybe he'll make her disappear.

I'm Clary Fray, and I'm a shadowhunter. After all, that's what Jace told her she was, so why doesn't Alec just fall in line? Maybe it's time for her to prove herself.

There is nothing that Clary is going to say to make Alec like like her, so why is she still talking?
8. Oh, yeah?! - Shadowhunters Season 1 Episode 5
Clary is showing some spunk here. She looks like she's ready for whatever challenge Alec is going to throw her way. Alec is probably rolling his eyes at this.
9. Training day - Shadowhunters Season 1 Episode 5
Forget the words, let's spar with sticks. This is probably just child's play for Alec, but Clary seems pretty serious.

Either something is out there, or these guys are just posing for a group photo to post on Instagram. Whatever the case, Isabelle sure looks amused.

There's certainly something out there. Jace looks ready to take on whatever it is, but it might be too much for him to handle alone. Hopefully, Alec will step up and help.

It looks like Clary got separated from the group and was picked up by a cop or someone. Where's Luke when you need him? And where's Jace and the others?
13. You'll talk or else - Shadowhunters Season 1 Episode 5
This guy doesn't look like he's playing around. Whatever happened out there, Clary better start talking.
14. In Trouble Now - Shadowhunters Season 1 Episode 5
Simon probably wishes someone would pinch him so he could wake up from this nightmare. I'm sure this isn't how he imagined he and Clary would end up. How did he find Clary, anyway?
15. Where is she - Shadowhunters Season 1 Episode 5
Jace and Alec don't seem too happy with each other. Is Jace blaming Alec for Clary's disappearance? Isabelle is keeping a safe distance away, but she doesn't seem to happy with Alec either.
16. Face off - Shadowhunters Season 1 Episode 5
It doesn't look like there's anything Alec can say that will calm Jace down. Will these two start throwing punches? Maybe Isabelle will join in too.
17. Overheard - Season 1 Episode 5 - Shadowhunters
Somehow Magnus seems to be in on the little tiff between Jace and Alec. I bet he's wondering what he did to get himself pulled into the middle of this madness. He probably wishes he had the whole bottle of whatever he's drinking instead of just a glass.

It looks like Valentine has found himself a sidekick, and he seems pretty proud of it. Nothing like having a handyman to do all your dirty work.

Valentine's sidekick looks eager to please his boss. Someone's about to get a little dose of something.
20. My bad side is showing - Shadowhunters Season 1 Episode 5
Sometimes it's better to just take matters into your own hands. Valentine will get what he wants, and will do whatever is necessary to get it. Jace better find Clary...and fast.
