Why? Because Dr. Stein can't live without one. That's where The Flash Season 2 Episode 4 will pick up with "The Fury of Firestorm" and the introduction of Jefferson "Jax" Jackson.

1. Growing Closer - The Flash Season 2 Episode 4
Barry and Patty Spivot grow closer every time they meet. Despite initial reservations, even this jaded author admits to being on board with this coupling!
2. Going Over the Case - The Flash Season 2 Episode 4
Is Patty Spivot still trying to play it cool around Barry, or has he let her know that he really does think she's kind of cute? She sure looks intent on digging int this file!
3. Written on His Face - The Flash Season 2 Episode 4
If Barry hasn't let Patty in on his affections, then she should be reading them loud and clear by this look of pure joy on his face while he's conversing with her. Wow! He's having a great time.
4. Up and Around - The Flash Season 2 Episode 4
It looks like Dr. Stein is up and around. That is a good thing! He must be helping in the search for his perfect match. Wonder how close they've come to narrowing down the candidate list in this photo.
5. Concern - The Flash Season 2 Episode 4
When a match is discovered for Dr. Stein in Jefferson "Jax" Jackson, Caitlin will be concerned that he may not be be the right candidate. What's going to be her sticking point?
6. Persuasion - The Flash Season 2 Episode 4
Is Barry using his powers of persuasion here to help Caitlin see that Jax isn't such a bad match for Dr. Stein? Will he be the only match? Will they have a whole boatload of time to hunt down another?

So Dr. Stein IS still bedridden. Taking it easy when you're prone to blue flames flying out of your head and hands is probably a good thing. Always err on the side of caution!

Well, here he is! This is Jax Jackson (Franx Drameh), who will become the other half of Firestorm. He's at the bedside of Dr. Stein, so he must be well on his way receiving information. Was he already a metahuman?

Cisco is suiting up Jax for what appears to be the first time. Wouldn't you be scared to death? It would be a hard pill to swallow, learning you're about to go nuclear and fuse with somebody else.
10. The Gang's All Here - The Flash Season 2 Episode 4
It sure looks like they're all preparing for a test run. What on earth must Jax be thinking as this is all going down? It should be very interesting to find out. After all, the first duo didn't have a choice in the matter!
11. Woozy - The Flash Season 2 Episode 4
Suppose Dr. Stein is willing to try pretty much anything to keep from becoming another blue ball of flame, especially since he can't seem to control when it's happening. It's horrible to see him looking so darn vulnerable!
12. Franz Drameh as Jefferson "Jax" Jackson - The Flash Season 2 Episode 4
Here he is! All prepped and ready. Franz Drameh as Jefferson "Jax" Jackson looks just swell in his little handmade jacket with custom...what the hell is that, anyway? Never did understand what the planet looking thing was, come to think of it.
13. Dark Chat - The Flash Season 2 Episode 4
Barry and Joe chat in the dark. We know Iris "surprises" Joe in some way, but we don't know what that means, exactly. Does Joe take it to Barry to talk it over?
14. They Meet Again - The Flash Season 2 Episode 4
Patty Spivot and Barry Allen really DO keep meeting up all the time, don't they? We're fully expecting them to be an item any day now. Just counting them down.
15. The Flash on the Job Season 2 Episode 4
The Flash is on the job, but he's not alone. He has backup. Guess who it is! Of course, you already know. Just look at the next photo, sillies!
16. Patty to the Rescue - The Flash Season 2 Episode 4
Patty is always a step behind (or ahead) of The Flash these days, and it looks like they both arrive on the scene of the latest crime. How long before she's in on the secret of the Scarlet Speedster? Would that really be so bad? Heck, everyone else knows....
