Eden Riegel

Eden Riegel plays Bianca Montgomery. In 2000, the character came out as daytime's first lesbian character. She left the show in 2004, but returned in October 2006.

Riegel and former AMC co-star Olga Sosnovska made television history in April 2003 when their characters shared the first on-screen, same sex kiss in soap opera history. In 2004 she received the inaugural GLAAD Out Image Award for the year's most popular gay/lesbian image. With Ms. Riegel's storyline, All My Children has been awarded three GLAAD Media Awards for Outstanding Daytime Drama in 2001, 2002 and 2004.

Born and raised outside of Washington, DC, Riegel landed her first major acting role as Young Cosette in Les Mis�rables. She then went on to tour with the show, traveling to 26 U.S. cities before being brought to Broadway, where she played Cosette for an additional two years.
