Jake Pavelka was the star of the 14th season of The Bachelor on ABC. He first gained some level of fame on The Bachelorette, where he vied for the love of Jillian Harris.

Jake did not make it all that far - he finished like seventh - but gained plenty of notoriety when he returned to the show one week after being kicked off by Jillian.

In a hilariously staged stunt, Jake told Jillian that fellow hopeful Wes Hayden was there for the wrong reasons and had a girlfriend back home he was still with.

Some derided this as a cheap stunt, or called Jake out as a rat. Others called him noble. We don't know any of those people, but that's what we're told, anyway.

On his own season of this absurdly contrived show, Jake defied the fans and chose Vienna Girardi to be his bride. Even if that doesn't work out, he used his fame, and biceps, to earn his way on to season 10 of Dancing with the Stars.
