Magnum P.I.

Jay Hernandez is an actor who was born in Mexico and raised in Los Angeles, California. He was discovered by a Talent Agent while riding in an elevator in an LA high-rise.

Jay made his TV debut in 1995 in the NBC Saturday morning teen sitcom, Hang Time, where he met his future wife, Daniella Deutscher.

That led to roles in the teen romance movie Crazy/Beautiful and the Disney film The Rookie.

On TV, he is known for roles in Six Degrees, Last Resort, Nashville, Gang Related, The Expanse, and Scandal.

Hernandez can currently be seen as the iconic Thomas Magnum on the remake of Magnum P.I.
