Bio

Jordan Clarke has made a career out of playing Billy Lewis on Guiding Light.

He originated the character in May 1983 and continued playing the maverick businessman until January 1987. Clarke then returned to the show in June 1989 until 1994. Most recently, he rejoined the cast in 1997.

In 2006, Clarke received a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.

Born in Rochester, New York, Jordan attended Cornell University, graduating with a bachelor's degree in philosophy and an MFA degree in acting in 1971. He continued his theatrical training at the New York University School of the Arts, where he studied with John Heffernan and Peter Kass.
