Michael Easton originated the role of John McBain in October 2003.
He relocated to New York to join the cast following his run as the immensely popular vampire, Caleb Morley, on ABC Daytime's Port Charles. The real Easton, of course, enjoyed a double major in English and history in college, with an emphasis on Greek History. Before finishing, he decided to leave school and travel through Europe. He compiled his writing from the trip into a book entitled Drift.
became a published poet with Eighteen Straight Whiskeys in October 1997. He has also appeared on Ally McBeal and The Practice.
