In May 1983, Tina Sloan joined the cast of Guiding Light, originating the role of nurse Lillian Raines.

Sloan appeared in the Woody Allen films Celebrity and The Curse of the Jade Scorpion. She can also been seen in the films Changing Lanes with Ben Affleck, The Guru with Marisa Tomei, and People I Know with Al Pacino.

Impressively, the actress has also climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa and the Annapurna Refuge in Nepal.
