Would Countess Marburg really sacrifice Mary's son for the purposes of the Grand Rite or some other great evil?

It's certainly possible, but it's more likely that she'd find a way to use him to her benefit, don't you think? 

It doesn't look like we'll have to find out, as Mary intends to hold Tituba accountable for what has happened to young John and in return she'll learn the chilling truth about the young boy as well as come face to face with another John she loves. Is she prepared to learn what he's been up to?

It looks like things are about to heat up dramatically in Salem Season 2 Episode 9, so hold onto your hats!!
