Stranger Things Season 2 Trailer: Darkness Falls on Hawkins

Everyone in Hawkins is at risk thanks to a brand new villain who looks intent on destroying the whole town and every single person in it. 

Will gets his first glimpse at the new villain, while his friends and family initially don't know anything is wrong. 

Could his dearly departed friend, Eleven be sending a message from the other side?

Yes, Eleven is in the teaser, and we even get a look at how she makes her way back into the same world as her former friends. 

However, something tells us the town could be destroyed before she even gets there. 

Barb was nowhere to be seen in the trailer, so it looks like there will be no justice for Barb quite yet. 

Winona Ryder as back as Joyce and it sure looks like her world is going to crash down around her when she realizes that having Will back does not mean his time away will be left in the past. 

It should be interesting to see how she processes the news that a new villain is lurking in the shadows. 

Oh, we also got a bigger look at the boys dressed for as the Ghostbusters for Halloween. 

As always, the series embraces its 1980s period with several pop culture references and backed by a solid soundtrack. 

The hit series recently snagged 18 Emmy nominations, and it stands to win a lot of them. 

The show became a surprise hit shortly after launching last year.
