The Defenders Trailer: Welcome, Elektra!

What do you get when you put Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist in a TV show together?

An action packed series that is a slam dunk success, that's what. 

After years of hype, The Defenders will finally unleash their power on Netflix next month, and the streaming giant gifted fans with a brand new Comic-Con trailer to show off just how well the four work together. 

Plot twist: There are some initial teething problems, but they manage to become a solid little team as they go to war with Sigourney Weaver's Alexandria. 

As previously reported, Weaver's alter ego will be the one causing all the drama, and it's clear she will go to any lengths to get what she wants. 

In the trailer alone, we got to see Trish and Claire learn first-hand how far Alexandria is willing to go, and it's rather unnerving. 

She even goes as far as bringing Elektra into the mix and Daredevil cannot quite believe his eyes that he's seeing her in the flesh. 

Let's just say the $hit is going to hit the fan on this one real quick, and we'll be along for every second of the ride. 

What's intriguing about the trailer is that it manages to show off both the lighthearted moments and, of course, the crazy scenes involving fights that would never happen in real life. 

It's almost like what you would expect from a Marvel movie.
