Samantha Harris will make her return to Dancing With the Stars on October 15, she confirmed to People magazine.

The host, who welcomed daughter Josselyn Sydney Hess on September 23, will be back for the remainder of the season.

The news should come as no surprise to fans.

At the beginning of Tuesday's results show, Drew Lachey, Dancing's season two's champ who has been filling in for Harris, announced her imminent return. He said he was, "filling in one last time for Samantha Harris, who's coming back next week.

Audience members reacted with applause, congratulating Lachey on a job well done.
