Ellen Pompeo, Chris Ivery Plan Anniversary-Birthday Getaway

How are Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo and her husband, Chris Ivery, going to celebrate their upcoming one-year wedding anniversary - and her 39th birthday?

With a trip to Las Vegas, of course!

The couple, whose anniversary is Monday, November 10, as is Ellen's day of birth (they also got engaged on that day) have plans to stay in a "plush suite" at the Palazzo.

Chris Ivery and Ellen Pompeo have been married one year as of Saturday, and got engaged a year prior to that. Both Boston natives, they dated for a couple of years beforehand.

They'll get their party on Saturday night at Tao restaurant and nightclub, which will (fittingly) be celebrating its third anniversary at the time.

Ellen Pompeo and Chris Ivery will be joined for some of their celebrating by her former Grey's Anatomy co-star Kate Walsh and her movie executive hubby, Alex Young.

"They wanted to do something special," a source told E! Online, "but didn't want to go too far because of Ellen Pompeo's filming schedule."
