On May 19, following the season finale of American Idol, Fox will attempt an interesting experiment.

The network will air the premiere of Glee, a promising series that focuses on the exploits of a high school teacher and his glee club. After that, the show will remain off the air until it becomes part of the Fox fall schedule.
