Great Glee Scoop: Madonna on Board, DVD on the Way

The great Glee news continues to pour in.
Over the last week, it's been confirmed that Joss Whedon would direct an episode in 2010; the cast would sing the national anthem prior to game three of the World Series in Philadelphia; and that Jonathan Groff would recur on the series.
Now, we can report on three more exciting developments:
- The show is featured in this week's issue of Entertainment Weekly;
- Madonna has agreed to give the comedy full use of her song catalog and a Material Girl-themed episode is in the works;
- 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment will release Glee Season One: Road to Sectionals on December 29. the DVD will include the show’s first 13 episodes.
From there, the full first-season DVD set will hit stores in mid-2010.
