First, the great news: Greek has been picked up for a fourth season.

Now, the sad news for fans of this ABC Family series: all indications point to this being its final run.

“That is the plan,” said series creator Sean Smith, when asked about this summer's 10-episode season.

He added that he hopes to bring back former stars, such as Charisma Carpenter and Michael Rady, for the final stretch.

“We’re all looking at this as an opportunity to come back, wrap up the show, and end strong," Smith told Entertainment Weekly. "ABC Family could’ve ended it, but they gave us this opportunity and I don’t want to squander it.”

Meanwhile, an ABC Family spokesperson says all of Greek’s regular cast members will return for season four.
