Exciting casting news of out CBS today: CSI has nabbed Battlestar Galactica and 24 alum Katee Sackoff for a potentially recurring role.

The actress, who will also reprise her role as a version of herself on The Big Bang Theory this fall, will come aboard the hit drama as Detective Reed, a character Entertainment Weekly describes as "a smart, tough, and feisty investigator with an acknowledged lack of sensitivity."

Sackoff will debut in November.

But singer Justin Bieber will guest star on the September 23 season premiere. CBS hypes this appearance in the promo below:
