For fans of Smallville, this sneak peek at Friday's season premiere is exciting.

For star Justin Hartley, however, this is even more exciting: his real-life wife will guest star on a future episode!

Lindsay Hartley, best known on the small screen for her role as Arianna on Days of Our Lives, will appear as a "woman who takes matter into her own hands," producer Kelly Souders told TV Guide, adding:

"And those hands are wickedly dangerous!  She won't be working with Justin [as Oliver] but she'll have her hands full with Clark!"

Look for Hartley to show up in the season's eighth episode, which is titled "Abandoned."
